1 day session where you will learn about a lathe, chisels and their use. Practice turning cylinders and complete a pen and pencil set.

2 sessions of 6.5 hours each where you will learn about the lathe, it’s maintenance, chisels and their use, turning between centres, face plate work, and finishing. The main focus will be on technique and completing a couple of small projects.
We are taking bookings for our next class. Dates to be confirmed when we have interest.

5 sessions where you will build a Jewellery box with dividers and a pull out tray. All hardwood, brass hinges and lock are included. This is quite an involved project and limited to just 2 spaces.
Running on Saturday afternoons from 1pm, we will start on August 5, 2017.
5 sessions of approximately 3 hours each where you will build a book / tablet stand.
This project will be focused on the use of hand tools and cover several common joinery techniques including hand cut dovetails and lap joints. You will be able to take the skills gained from this project and apply them to more complex items later.
5 sessions running on Wednesday evenings starting at 5pm to approximately 8pm. First session on August 9, 2017
